Since our founding in 1953, Noble of Indiana has focused on one mission: to create opportunities for people with developmental disabilities to live meaningful lives. From four sites in Central Indiana (Noble East, Noble West, Noble North in Carmel, and Noble Broad Ripple) and one in Eastern Indiana (Richmond), Noble helps individuals with developmental disabilities become active members of their community.
MISSION STATEMENT
To create opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to live meaningful lives.
PURPOSE
We serve more than 2,000 individuals of all ages with a full array of services. Through Indiana First Steps, our Early Childhood Intervention program helps infants and toddlers with or at risk of developmental delays through occupational, developmental, speech and physical therapies. Youth ages 6-22 can participate in one of Noble’s Summer Day Camps, including Sports Camp, Art Camp, Social Skills Autism Camp, Handwriting Camp, Career Exploration Camp and traditional day camps. Teens are served through our School-to-Work transition program, including our new Project SEARCH-an intensive internship program at St. Vincent Carmel Hospital. Adults are served through Noble’s three Employment Services (Community Employment, Work Crews and Noble Industries); our Adult Day Services featuring therapeutic music, recreation and art; Community Exploration Services; Community Living Residential Services; and our new Behavioral Therapy Service.
Noble also cares for the families of individuals with developmental disabilities through parent-to-parent mentoring, respite services, and advocacy.
