After assessing, comparing and testing other vendors services and rates it was decided that iZigg had the best text/mobile platform because it has the easiest contracts (month to month), intuitive user interface and best of all THE 90210 shortcode. Having a number that stands out among the 71883′s and 41441′s of the world makes a huge difference. It makes all the difference! The job of a marketing person is to make it easier for the customers to accomplish what they want to accomplish and there is no reason to make the customer have to work to remember the number they are supposed to text to. 90210 is already ingrained in people’s brains so all the customer has to do is remember the business’ keyword (Ex. Text “NEWRADAR” to 90210).

 

 
Most text marketing companies offer very similar packages and rates around $0.05/text. A lot of them will offer to send out your information to people who have not opted-in to your campaign and take control away from you when and how and who the messages are sent to. We did not appreciate that. Another reason why iZigg was a good fit. They help businesses build a database and an effective way to communicate with their customers and people who actually want to receive information and offers from them. Because The New Radar offers other services, there really is no pressure to do the text marketing at all although if you read any of the articles about “Mobile Marketing” , you will understand why having a text/mobile platform for your business makes sense.
 

With that being said, iZigg is based on a MLM business model and there is that side of it, but for The New Radar clients there is no pressure for them to sign up as an agent although a lot of times it will make the most sense and be the most cost effective. Top level partners in iZigg Michael Rutherford and Dr. Scott Elliot have created a business that anybody can utilize as an individual, a business or agent. They allow businesses to communicate in a more eco-friendly way because no paper or materials are being used.
